About
Ball Merge is a relaxing physics puzzle with two styles to choose from. Move the ball along the top of the box and drop it. Balls fall, roll and stack, and when two of the same kind touch they merge into the next bigger one. In Numbers, colourful balls double each time, from 1 up to a giant 1024. In Sports Balls, a ping pong ball grows into a golf ball, a tennis ball and so on, all the way up to a beach ball. Two of the biggest balls merging pop and leave the box.
Every merge scores points, and bigger merges score more. A merged ball can land next to its twin and merge again, so one good drop can set off a chain. The Next bubble shows what comes after this one, and the strip at the bottom shows the whole ladder, with the ones you haven't made yet hidden. The game ends when the pile stays above the red line at the top of the box. Each style keeps its own best score in your browser.
How to Play
- Move your finger or mouse along the top of the box to aim; the dotted line shows where the ball will fall.
- Release or click to drop the ball.
- Two balls of the same kind merge into the next bigger ball when they touch.
- The game ends when the pile stays above the red line for two seconds.
Tips
- Keep the biggest balls in one corner and build the ladder down from them, so merges happen next to each other.
- Check the Next bubble before dropping: if the next ball has nowhere to go, place this one somewhere else.
- Don't bury a small ball under big ones; it can't reach its twin and wastes space.
- Leave room near the top: a merge can push balls up for a moment.
