Why Short Browser Games Fit Real Life

Not every game needs a big download, a long tutorial or an hour of free time. Browser games are built for the other situation: you have a few minutes, a phone or a laptop, and you want something to do right now. That is the kind of game we make at Ketu Games.
Zero setup
A browser game is a web page. There is nothing to install, no store to visit and no account to create. You open the page and the game starts. That removes most of the small obstacles that stop people from playing, and it means you can play on almost any device with a modern browser.
It also means your computer or phone stays clean: nothing is left installed when you close the tab.
Sessions of a few minutes
Short games respect your time. A level in Ball to Cup takes about a minute. A round of Sky Drop is over in seconds. Our simulations run for around a minute or less. You can finish one in a queue or between tasks, and you will not lose anything by stopping.
For longer games, progress is saved in your browser, so you can come back later and carry on.
Games and toys
On Ketu Games you will find two kinds of things. Games, such as Ball to Cup and Sky Drop, have goals: clear the level, land on the base. Simulations, such as Circle Illusion or Chain Reaction, are closer to toys: you set something up, press play and watch what unfolds.
Both have their place. A game gives you a challenge, and a simulation gives you something to look at while your mind rests. We make both because people want both on different days.
Playing well on any device
Most of our pages work on desktop, tablet and phone. On a phone, rotate your device if a game suggests landscape, and use the fullscreen button where it appears to give the game more room. Sound is off until you tap, which is how browsers handle audio, so tap once to switch it on.
If a game ever behaves oddly, refreshing the page is a reliable first fix. If it keeps happening, let us know through the Contact page.
Where to start
If you like puzzles, try Ball to Cup. If you like quick reflex games, try Sky Drop. If you want to relax, open one of the simulations and just watch. Everything on the site is free, and there are more games on the way.
